Hello family and friends, I am so sorry for all of those who have tried to contact me in the past couple of weeks who I havn't gotten back to yet, I will only be MIA until tuesday. The work load is coming down slowly but surely only 2 finals, 4 papers, and 1 research project left. But this morning I took my greek final which was acculmative of the entire year, it made my head hurt but I think it went okay. We will see. Okay got to run, just wanted to let you all know that I didn't fall of the face of the earth, and I still love and pray for you all!

A Day at the Beach! Today was my last offical day of classes, not just for the summer, but forever...that is crazy. Well who knows I might do more school later on but as of right now I am classes free!
It was a beauitful day up on the North Shore! I took Ned and Polly (two of the kids I babysit and who I am going to be living with this summer) to Signing Beach, we had a great time, and they are just so cute that I couldn't resist putting them on my blog!
Only 10 days left to get everything done, its petal to the metal time...for the last time!! I hope that everyone is doing great. Enjoy the Day!! P.S. did anyone catch the Twins game last night...it was pretty sweet, I got to watch the 9th and 10th inning on my friends computer who has mlb.tv!

THE BOSTON MARATHON
Yesterday my friend Cassie and I went to watch our good friend Sabrina run in the Boston Marathon. It was quite an experience
to say the least. Cassie and I parked our selves at mile 24 and 1/2, and we got to watch all of the top runners run by inculding the winners of the race, it was pretty sweet to see. We also some random things from runners inculding: a guy stopping while running to take a picture, a guy talking on his cell phone while running, a guy with a kiss me sign on him, stopping to kiss and hug as many girl as he could (I don't think he was worried about to much about his time :)) and the best was a guy who chugged a beer and than threw it into the crowd, I am guessing he thought the pain would help him at that point, there was only a mile and half left so he probably figured why not. The guy in the orange shirt with a blow horn was awesome. He knew every top runner's name and where they came from. This man was a dedicated fan. For three hours he cheered on the runners, each one with the same enthusiasm as the first. Over all it was a great day, the only downfall was that one the way back out the Red Soxs game was getting out at the same time so we ended up being on the T for an hour and half for what normally should be a half hour trip. I guess that is just part of being in the city with 50,000 other people that day :) Alright I must get back to work, lots to do. I hope everyone is having a great day!
This is a movie of my friend Sabrina. I have no idea if it will work but I thought it would be worth a try.

It has been such a good weekend! My parents came up to visit for the weekend, we did a lot of stuff, we went to the beach, to Maine, we went Shopping, we went out to eat a lot, we went to church, We hung out in Boston. Here are just a couple of pictures, this is the view of the Boston Harbor from my parents hotel. And these are my parents and I on the other side of the harbor!
Thank you so much Mom and Dad for coming to visit me, I had a wonderful time with you! I love you!

EAST BAY CHURCH!!
One of the many joys of my seminary days at Gordon Conwell has definately East Bay Church. I attended East Bay Church last Halloween (04) for the first time and I knew it would be my home church for the next two years. The church was small but the amount of love it showed me the first day was amazing. It is a small church plant (an average sunday service has about 30 people which has grown from an average of 10-15 we had at this time last year) that started in sept of 2004. For the past 2 years I have been on the core ministry team doing a little bit of everything from Youth Group, Kids Church, and being the Power Point Girl (a very offical title I know). I have learned so much through the dedication of so many people who work so hard every week to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to thos in the Malden area. It has been so cool to watch the Lord work in the church in so many different trials and joys. The church has become my family away from home, and it will be really hard to say good-bye.
These are some pictures from todays Easter Egg hunt which turned out great!! (can you find the eggs :) ) These are the girls that I have gotten to work with in the Kids area (sunday school) they all have a special place in my heart.

Happy Easter!

N-E ways my parents are coming into town today!! yeah I am excited to spend the weekend with them, were going to spend some time in Maine, Boston, and good ol GCTS. Hopefully I will have some pictures coming soon of our adventures :)

Some where over the Rainbow......
It seemed only apporiate on Sat. night that a rainbow as bright and as beauitful as I have ever seen
would shine in all its glory at a time when I need encouragment from God the most. I had just finished another tough weekend of my weekend class Christainity and the problem of Racism. This class along with my other urban class this semester and over the past couple of years have rocked my world and turned it inside out and back around again (did you follow that?) There is just so much that is going through my heart and my mind that it is hard to put it all into words. But the rainbow was a beauitful thing that spoke volumes to me, if there is one thing I have learned in my class is that racial renconcillation is only possiable through Christ (amen), and while it is painful to go through this process, (the rain before the rainbow) I am not doing it alone nor am I suppose to slove it alone. It is only through God walking beside me and my brothers and sisters in Christ that we can start to make a difference. (the rainbow) I'm not sure where to start, but I'll hopefully get there sometime soon, through the more I learn and the more I process through things that for some reason I spent the past 23 years of my life not thinking about. (in this context at least). The rainbow was also beauitful because my life is really one big question mark right now, especially what kind of job I will do next fall, I can't see all the answers right now (just like you can't see the end of the rainbow...yeah yeah corny I know but I do love metaphors) But my promise, my hope, and my purpose is in Christ, not in myself.
Yes I got all of this from one rainbow, but man it was a really beauitful rainbow. Here are some pictures of it, that really don't do it justice, but pictures never really can with stuff like this. :) I hope that today you all find something small or large that is an encouragment from God, because they are all around everyday.
Praise God!

Praise God!
